This poster was created for a class at JWU. We were asked to make a poster for a large public event/situation. The poster is about the approaching playoffs for the NY Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Both teams were tied with only a week to go. The two pitchers were new additions in an effort to overtake each other. The baseball in the center is a montage of recent events.
This was the second part of the assignment described in the first poster. The class also had to choose a personal event. Nicole was a bridesmaid in this wedding and used the engagement photos to make a montage of images. There are three images total and a collection of flowers surrounding the background. They recieved this poster as a present.
In Cold Blood Book Cover Redesign
For another class at Johnson & Wales University, students were asked to redesign a book cover from a book they had previously read. Nicole chose Truman Capote's In Cold Blood. The origional cover looked like this. The students were asked to create the entire cover, notj ust the front.
